Belated, but better late than never, right?

My family took most of the day today slow. The weather didn't really behave most of the day, it was cloudy, drizzly, and chilly. So I decided I didn't want to venture out too much. We did a family BBQ early on and then in the evening drove down to Salem-Keizer to see the Volcanoes vs. Dust Devils baseball game. It was a slow game, final score being 1 to 3, Dust Devils won by a lucky home run in the 9th that brought another run in. Either way, it was a fun time. Afterwords, we stayed to watch the fireworks. They were good, no big ones, but lots of variety and lots of fun. Getting in at 11 or so though, it's time to finish my homemade watermelon slushie (yummy!).
