If you could live in any James Bond movie, which one would it be?

Oh, thanks for asking. I think I would most like to live in Goldfinger because the time frame was just about right for me and I loved seeing the scenes around Fort Knox. I'd take up residence somewhere near there.
Why do people litter?
Living in downtown Vancouver near the water and the beaches, I see so much of this on my morning powerwalks, especially after big holidays or big events.
Last night was the first night of the annual Celebration of Light fireworks. Thousands of people lined the beaches last night to watch.....and this morning, the whole place is littered with drink containers, napkins, food wrappers, newspapers, and all sorts of refuse. There are large refuse containers about every 50 feet but people cannot seem to make that trip....and they even put out extra for events in the high volume places like English Bay.
Don't even get me started on what the beaches looked like after Canada Day. OMG that was deeeesgusting!
We live in a city with much affluence....in addition to being known here on the wescoast for being tree-hugging, eco-conscious, granola-heads. So why so much litter and crap left to soil and stink up the landscape in our parks, beaches, and city in general?
I just don't get it.
I personally don't understand how people can litter, period. Why is it so hard to gather up your refuse and deposit it in the trash can like a respectable human being? People wouldn't dream of littering in their own home....or at a friend's home....so why do it in public areas?
not exactly clogging up the roads, as yet, but you know, we people (you know eeerrr,,, humans) always innovate in our own way... as fuel runs out and becomes outrageously expensive (not of course because we are running out on the planet, but because Oil companies and energy suppliers are getting greedier and greedier and they are allowed to do it).. so put on another jumper (so says the boss of Centrica) "thanks gitto" - do you think he'll be wearing 2 jumpers ??! we'll all be out in the forests, stealing wood, trying to make ends meet till you die (thanks The Verve),, horses & carts will be back, it just about has to be the most environmentally friendly way to get around, they eat grass, and let you run around on them... and they're a good deal faster than the 20 mph Golf Cart buggies that they are taxing and allowing on the Roads in the USA, where some people are having a go at beating the fuel problem... has anyone head of horses there ?? even the Police are using them, although I don't think they'll be any fast 'getaways' in them, and they might have to think about the safety of an open-cart buggy on the roads... the picture tickled me though... seems like you could walk faster, or even cycle (you know its one of those recent new fangled inventions, 2 wheels - unbelievable what they can do these days) and it would keep you fitter, unless you're incapacitated, then you would be in a wheelchair anyway,, can they go on roads ?? not sure... here's the pici and the story.. I liked it anyway

One more thing before i sleep..
THE X-FILES MOVIE COMES OUT ON FRIDAY!!!! AHHH!!!
but sadly i wont get to see it for a couple more weeks because the boyfriend wants to see it with me.
GUH
that and i have to work.
sad faces....
oh well AT LEAST THE WAIT IS OVER!!!
AHH!!!
So because of my injury i've been placed on Modified Duty. So instead of doing my normal job i'm doing much more fun and interesting things.
Let's see...
On Sunday when i should have been in the Crystal Prison i was somewhere back stage on main street washing dirty towels for 7 hours.
OMG i wanted to die it was horrible.
I kept count in how many loads of towels i washed. 16 loads. That's about 2 and some loads every hour.
I literally just sat there in this tiny little closet loading and unloading the washer and dryer.
SOOO happy when that day was over.
then monday was my day off (went to MK again and spent time with the mountains...lol)
Tuesday was luckily assigned to a different locations (YAY!)
I was a greeter at the front gates of the park, technically the exit, but it was still loads of fun.
for 8 hours i got to stand there and tell people
"bye, have a magical afternoon!"
"bye thanks for coming"
"bye, enjoy the rest of your afternoon"
and after the first hour i started getting creative...
calling all the girls (all ages) princesses...the older women in their ECVs got a kick out of being called Cinderella in their Royal Carraige. lol
when i would see little boys asleep in their strollers i would call them "Sleeping Charming"
::laughs::
then it started to rain...
So the guests soon became "People in their original Packaging" lol
and i'd ask them if they were still in mint condition... (they were all wearing their rain ponchos)
it was a good (but tiring) day
today was another day off...spent it again at MK
and this time i cried...
I was walking by the castle, just looking up and it dawned on me that in 4 weeks that will no longer be an occurance in my life.
No more disney world EVERYDAY for me...
Guess now i'm going back to the real world.
you know 7 months in the most magical place on earth does take its toll, but in the end you don't want to leave.
tomorrow i'm greeting at the exit again.
and i'm very excited
and i should prob go to sleep now seeing how i need to be up early and its almost one in the morning now...
well night people!
Show us the last thing you bought.
Today I went to Relax the Back store. I have had a tempur-pedic contoured pillow for about 6 years now and its not doing it's job anymore....and lately my neck has been in so much pain because it's not getting any support when I am sleeping. My shoulders are so sore every morning and I am not sleeping very much at all because my neck is so sore and making other parts sore,too....and I have been getting a lot of headaches from the neck pain. So, I figured it was time to look into something new.
I love Relax the Back store and could spend hours in there. With anti-gravity chairs, lots of massage chairs, and a whole bunch of beds where you can lie on to test the mattress (most are memory foam) and to try out different pillows and leg wedges.....they expect you to try everything and stay awhile. I remember a long time ago, we spent a whole afternoon, practically, trying stuff out. And today, lying on the tempur-pedic mattress with a side sleeper pillow and a body pillow......it was so comfy and supportive, I almost drifted off and had a nap!!
Today I invested in a new pillow that is good for side sleepers and is amazingly supportive to my neck. OMG!! Love it! Love it! Love it! And I also got a body pillow which I have been wanting forever. I tried it out in the store and it's just wonderful.
It felt like a bit of a splurge....but, quite honestly, investing in things that help my back isn't really a splurge. Less doctors visits and less pain....is a VERY good thing! :)
Now, I just have to save up to buy one of those amazing tempur-pedic mattresses that are just a DREAM to lie on!
